Laurent's Acid
Accessible in dark purple or dark red colored crystalline form, Laurent's Acid is naphthylamine sulfonic acid that has been treated with sulfuric acid. This chemical is used as suitable intermediate for azo dyes, acid dyes and reactive dyes. Its molecular weight is 223 gram and its melting point is 300 degree C. Its estimated refractive index is 1.6500. Laurent's Acid dissolves in hot water and is slightly soluble in cold water. It needs to be stored at normal temperature.
